Yes! Our larger skips can handle bulky items like furniture, mattresses, and large appliances. We recommend breaking down or disassembling larger items where possible to save space and additional charges from the tip. If you're disposing of heavy or large materials, consider placing them at the bottom of the skip.

You will need a permit if you plan to place the skip bin on council land. If you have space on your private property, like your driveway or lawn you won't need a permit.

Typically, you can keep a skip bin for 7 days, but we offer flexible rental periods depending on your needs. If you require the bin for a longer time, please contact us for an extension at $25 per week.

Skip bin prices depend on factors such as:

• Bin size: Are most cost effective if you have a lot of waste.
• Waste type: Some types of waste, like heavy materials (soil or concrete) or green waste, may change the price of the bin 
• Location: Distance from our depot may affect the delivery cost.

For safety and compliance reasons, skip bins should not be overfilled. If your bin is filled above the rim, we may not be able to collect it. In the case of overfilling, additional charges may apply, or we may need to return to remove the excess waste.

Yes, recyclables such as paper, cardboard, and plastics can go in the skip bin. However, please separate recyclables from general waste where possible. If you have large amounts of recyclables, we recommend using a dedicated recycling service for those items.
